Yeah, this blog was born because of Lady Gaga. She was sing about freedom, when I did not know her yet. In 2011, she had begin the shows of "Tha Fame Monster Ball Tour" singing "Dance in the Dark", wich is until this days my favorite song of her carrer. Is a feminist song, she call the power of all girls that succumbe behind men. She called them to dance, to pass trough the darkness, to come at light. In the music's bridge, Jesus Christ and Stanley Kubrick was in the same line to evoque a liberty of thinking. Christ, I imagine, in the sense of love (don't matter the religion, bible or church). Cool, but what had make me awake was Kubrick like he were a feeling hidden in ourselves. I've write (in portuguese) about a lot of films in Quarto Ato website, and when i was listen the song, I has remember immediatelly that astronaut who break all the handcuffs and knew the beyond-life. Kubrick had show him to us in 1968, and for all time he's will be in our minds.

Just like the phrase, i'm here to find my freedom, my jesus and my Kubrick in every line.

I remember that moment i've heard about the Knight of Cup's project, a notice put in title: Released new poster and synopsis of Terrence Malick's film. Excited, mainly because i had liked "To The Wonder", I opened the link. The film poster looked to be provoking and the synopsis were summarized to a line: "A lost man in a world of fame". This is a genuinely Malick's mote in all the senses, because in these everyday journeys lives the frontier wich so remains in his films. The fury of a mother against God's evil, the fear of killing bigger than be killed, the anguish of a strange culture, the limits of a obsessive passion.
